THE SHORT STORY
As a leader experienced in engineering, design, project management, customer relations, and sales, I consistently seek opportunities to take initiative or invite collaboration. Having demonstrated a strong balance of technical and creative skills, I thrive when directing cross-functional teams.

THE FULL STORY
I have had a passion for product development and technical challenges for as long as I can remember. Certain that the surest place to marry the two interests was within the aerospace industry, I earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering and joined Boeing's Product Development Group. For seven years, I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside the most creative and intelligent men and women in the industry.
Working across three different development programs, I touched every aspect of the product development lifecycle. From market requirements and objectives to conceptual design, detail design, model and full-scale test, manufacture, certification and in-fleet emergencies, I saw it all. It was a uniquely rewarding experience to see my team’s ideas literally take flight, one of which I am reminded every time I travel.
At the end of those seven years, the challenges that laid ahead seemed too much like the challenges that had come before. Ready to explore new terrain, I was offered the opportunity to expand a small design firm from its focus on color, lighting, and furniture into architectural remodels. There, I would turn my attention toward product design, customer relations, and business development, where I expected to find a landscape ready for bright ideas and cutting-edge design techniques. I was not disappointed.
Looking to make the best of both worlds, I joined a group pioneering the field of Generative Design - quite literally the nexus of Engineering and Design. Trailblazing this path with Frustum Inc. and now with PTC through its 70 million dollar acquisition, is the most exciting project I have ever been a part of. Check back often as I update you all on our progress!

ENGINEERING
Engineering is the means by which science takes physical form. It is an incredibly rewarding discipline and has allowed for the creation of the world's greatest products.
After earning a master's degree in aerospace engineering, I sought a role in Boeing's Product Development Group. Working alongside fellow engineers, computer scientists, and fabricators, we created some of the most advanced machines to ever take flight.
I focused most of my energy toward aerodynamic design, where I could contribute most to aircraft performance. To that end, I developed novel design & optimization techniques, defined and directed scientific tests, managed multi-disciplinary projects, and crafted paths toward certification.
These are a few of my most interesting projects.

DESIGN
Design is the process by which function takes form. It is an incredibly creative experience, and synthesizes purpose, resources, and aesthetics.
When the founder of Belltown Design asked me to help expand her business from color/lighting/furniture into architectural remodels, I was excited to take the first step into the built environment. Since then, we have helped homeowners and businesses alike to realize their vision, and it has been my pleasure to get to know each of them.
When I am not focused on project management or business development, I put all of my attention toward product design and custom interiors.
These are a few of my most interesting projects.
